Up for sale is a set of two authentic prehistoric stone tool artifacts. These large, bifacially flaked pieces exhibit classic craftsmanship from the [Archaic/Woodland] period.
The primary piece is a large side-notched spear point (reminiscent of the Big Sandy or Brewerton styles) crafted from a high-quality gray chert/flint. It features deep notches near the base for secure hafting to a wooden shaft.
Material: Fine-grained Gray Chert / Flint

Features: Noticeable "patina" (age-related weathering) and clear percussion flaking scars
Origin: Estate sale of passed in AF general. Not much else on these , they came in cases and were marked. I'll try my best to answer any questions you might have.
