When Lucky was barely five, father and son team collaborated on their first recording, the Willie Dixon-produced single 1, 2, 3, 4 B &W Good Old Candy. It was a hit and won the youngster national fame. Lucky then spent dues-paying years, first learning music, then in the bands of such as Little Milton, before finding new fame as a triple threat artist (singer/guitarist/ organist). Although James and Lucky have recorded together sporadically during the last quarter century, 'If You Can't Fix It' is their most compelling testament to the power and passion of the blues.
