Parallel PliersA parallel plier differs hugely from a standard, scissor-action plier. Its compound box joint means its jaws always remain parallel as the tool is opened and closed. When closed, an even pressure is applied along the whole length of the jaws, allowing items to be gripped and held securely at any point. An additional feature of the parallel plier is its open throat.
