The reject gauge pin may be manually screwed into the cut thread, up to two revolutions, without excessive force. If it screws in further, the thread does not meet the desired standards (i.e., reject). A reference temperature of 20°C applies to the workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price available upon inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent metrology lab, following the specified standards and norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.
