- HOW | SILCA using their aerospace additive material Titanium printers and metal hardening ovens were able to create a perfect SHIMANO cleat replacement with a 500+ layer 3D printed model. After the hours long printing operations these cleats are heat treated and then post processed to remove any extra material or sharp edges.
