Snowflake Texture Tile Mold for Glass Slumping

DT27 Snow Flake Texture 11" Ceramic clay tiles work wonderfully for texturing glass in a kiln. Generally, any piece of glass can be heated and textured into a texture tile. For the most reliable results it is recommended to use glass fuse and if more than one piece of glass is to be fused, the glass pieces must be of the same COE. Once textured, the glass can be tumbled to create pretty glasses or displayed flat as panels or dream catchers. With the use of a common drop shot schedule and most drop molds, the texture will remain intact.Flat or slumped textured glass can be painted using a variety of post-firing color products such as Color MagicTM opaque and translucent colors featured in many of the projects pictured.The basic procedure for using Creative Paradise, Inc. texture tiles and designer tiles follows: Apply a quality glass separator to the tile according to the manufacturer's instructions. If a water-based glass separator is used, the water must be completely flushed from the ceramic tile before use with glass. Be careful not to choose a glass standoff that is excessively thick, as the standoff may fill in too much detail. At Creative Paradise, Inc.
