Tower's Zero Order Waveplates deliver high-performance Crystal Quartz retarders with a 23mm clear aperture. These air-spaced waveplates, featuring a stainless steel spacer between two crystal quartz plates, offer zero-order capability and are less sensitive to temperature variations than multi-order waveplates. They exhibit higher thermal stability and power handling capability, with no failures from coming apart. Angular alignment is precise. Crafted from Laser quality Crystal Quartz, these waveplates are AR coated on both sides. Standard retardations are or wave. They're available unmounted (25.4mm diameter) or mounted in a 30mm anodized Aluminum ring with a 23mm clear aperture. Standard wavelengths are listed in the chart below, with customizable options within a 1020nm range. Waveplate Specifications include Crystal Quartz material, 0.3 to 2.0 mm thickness range, /10 wavefront distortion, 10-5 scratch/dig surface quality, 0.5 arc second parallelism, and more. They're offered in a wide range of wavelengths, with 1/2 and 1/4 wave retardations, AR coating, and very high laser quality. Custom orders are available.
